Ten Ways to Think Proactively

By Jacqueline Madrigal
  1. When I feel stressed, I choose to make an adventure out of the situation.
  2. When fear enters my mind, I challenge myself to change my thoughts so that I can create the outcome I want.
  3. When life becomes a routine/habit, I focus on the path that I am in to ensure that it is the journey I want.
  4. Feeling trapped allows me to feel helpless.  When in reality, I have the freedom of choice.
  5. Feeling lonely robs me from feeling joy and fun.  When I have the power to choose how I feel.
  6. Guilt when nothing was done wrong hides the wisdom within us.
  7. When emptiness knocks, I choose not to let it in.  Instead I choose to have a fulfilled life by actions.
  8. When my heart wants to become sad, I steer it towards happiness as I am worth it.
  9. When my mind tells my body to be numb, I will recall feelings of passion and thereby not allowing numbness to live within me.
  10. When I am allowing myself to be complacent, I am closing my doors to the universe.  I will then choose to open my eyes and take the risk of traveling within the universe.
